Herewith we would like to inform you about the workshop “Consumers information for a healthier choice of daily goods”

The workshop is financially supported by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway within the EEA financial instrument and financial instrument of Norway and by Latvian state with the mediation of Society Integration Fund within the project “Raising consumers’ awareness for a healthier choice of daily goods”.
The workshop will take place on January 13, 2009, in Riga, in the premises of hotel “Bruņinieks” (Bruninieku st.6).

Aims of the workshop:
-   To introduce the stakeholders with the project results and findings;
-   To promote discussion on the topical issues;
-   To study the necessary directions, kinds and concrete target groups for successful further consumers’ information.

The working languages of this workshop will be English and Latvian.

The target group of this workshop is the involved stakeholders in consumers information, health sector, production and distribution of products: environmental experts, health policy creators, consumers protection policy creators, NGOs, producers, traders, doctors, teachers and other interested parties.
