Guidelines for the investigation of the impacts of offshore wind farms


Nowadays the alternative energy is a hot topic. Nongovernmental organizations put efforts to help make the impact of alternative energy to environment as insignificant as possible. In the frame of international project "Concept development for an environmental impact assessment for offshore wind parks in the Baltic States", financed by the German Federal Environment Agency, a guidelines for the investigation of the impacts of offshore wind farms on the marine environment in the Baltic States were produced by Baltic Environmental Forum and experts. We hope these guidelines will be helpful not only for organizing Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) but also for institutions responsible for EIAs. Below you can find the guidelines in English.
