We’ve found new ecological office paper!

After running out of our office paper, once again we had to decide on the new one. As we always heed environmental norms, we prioritize ecological production. And when speaking about ecological paper - there are tons of ecological paper advertisements on the internet. But which one to choose? This time we decided on the ecological production of “Smiltainis ir CO”.

This paper is produced by a Lithuanian company (this means lower CO2 emissions released by transportation);

It is produced from 100 % recycled waste-paper that was collected in Lithuania (it promotes material re-use and the CO2 emissions are lower due to local raw material usage in the production process).

The company “Smiltainis ir CO” is a socially responsible company - 58 % of the employees are disabled.

Although, our new office paper doesn’t have an environmental label, such as the German certification of Blue Angel, yet none of the office paper sorts produced in Lithuania does. INTERESTING TO KNOW that if office paper is labelled with the Blue Angel sign, it means that it’s made out of 100% recycled waste-paper and does not contain chlorine compounds, heavy metals containing paint or other compounds that might affect human health.

We are now even more motivated to work because of our new ecological office paper!
